The Beginning
The land and sea
Combined in one
Shaped ancient Greece
Geography
They walked through time together
Through the storm
Whatever the weather, cold or warm

The land itself wasn’t so much useful
It was bumpy with many mountains
Ten million islands were surrounding the land
As if someone smashed it with a fist
They lived around the sea
Maybe that’s why the climates were so calm
The people loved the weather
They spent most of their time outside
The Mycenaeans developed in 2000 BC
You ought to listen to me because I’ve got a PHD
Their cities were strong, the rulers were tough, and we can’t describe them enough
They made money by catching little fishies roaming in the sea
Not by farming cuz the mountains weren’t much useful
But they were very eager to find good land
The Minoans come in 1500 BC,
They influenced the Mycenaeans in several ways
Through their religion, politics, writing and trade
I guess it was them who started real “life”
And by 1200 BC Helen’s face launched a thousand ships
This aint no shhhhhhhhhhhhh
She was kidnapped by a Trojan Prince
And war started since
The war lasted 10 long years
Her husband use the horse
And Troy went into tears
It was a great war resource
The dorians were next, they forgot how to write
The future wasn’t bright
Then came a man named homer, he had no sight
But he was a literary knight
He told epics that were slick
His heroes in the odyssey slap- kicked
In his stories Zeus was king, Hera was queen
These gods lived in mount Olympus and they were never seen
Between these immortal gods
Peace was something hard to find
Whenever one was worshipped than other
Jealousy was increased
Athena played the guardian role
Which was named after Zeus’ fav daughter
